A collaboration between Cessnock City Council and specialist agricultural and food advisory firm Rounding Up, the project is designed to build capability and identify opportunities for growth within the local agriculture sector.
Council's economic development officer Brad Sangster said anyone who is passionate about the future of the Hunter region, and has ideas about how to improve it in relation to agriculture, food production, food trails, farmers markets and agri-tourism should join the meeting.
"Your feedback is important in shaping the future of industry, specifically food and agriculture, in the Hunter Valley," Mr Sangster said.
The meeting will be held via Zoom from 5pm to 6.30pm. RSVP is essential at eventbrite.com.au.
